May 22, 2015 thru May 24 2015, Event_Title: Silver City Blues & Bikes Festival, Event_Time: Fri. 10am to 7pm, Sat. 11am to 9pm Sun., Event_Location:Silver City, New Mexico, Event_Description: 20TH ANNIVERSARY SILVER CITY BLUES & BIKES FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF FESTIVAL, MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND BLUES LEGEND TAJ MAHAL TO HEADLINE The Mimbres Region Arts Council’s (MRAC) unparalleled Blues Festival, the last remaining FREE Blues Festival in the Southwest, celebrates 20 extraordinary years of success with a new name, the Silver City Blues & Bikes Festival, and an expansion that will include a third full day of motorcycle related activities on Friday, May 22 in and around Gough Park. Blues Hall of Famer, Lifetime Achievement and 2-time Grammy award winner Taj Mahal will headline the festival Saturday night, May 23. The festival runs through Sunday afternoon, May 24, featuring the Campbell Brothers as Sunday headliners. Presented in and around Silver City's Gough Park, the Silver City Blues & Bikes Festival is the same great festival you’ve come to expect, renamed and expanded for a total Blues & Bikes Lovers Experience. Friday’s expanded events will include the People’s Choice Bike Show, judged by festival attendees in two categories: early 1900s to 1984 and 1985 to present day; the American Wall of Death Thrill Show (, 50+ vendors; a Gila Wilderness bike run; custom bike builders and other high quality bike-themed vendors. The MRAC is thrilled at the extraordinary opportunity to present internationally renowned blues powerhouse Taj Mahal in Silver City, New Mexico. Composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Taj Mahal is one of the most prominent and influential figures in late 20th century blues and roots music. Says Taj Mahal, “I apply the warrior energy to the blues.” In addition the Blues Festival hosts a diverse array of artisans from across the region. Handmade and one-of-a-kind fiber arts pieces, pottery, and jewelry can be found in the Artisans Alley framing the park. May 23 and 24th, 2015 - Sam's Club - Tucson, Tucson, Saturday, May 23rd - Sunday, May 24th. The Cruising For The Cause will start at Sam's Club - 4701 N. Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ. "Cruising For The Cause" is a fund raising event for the only National Foundation linking Alzheimer's, Dementia and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). The event includes a car show, bike show, arts and crafts show, health fair, consumer fair, music, food and much more. This is one of 12 events the Foundation will be putting on in 2015 in AZ and CA. May 25th, 2015 Monday - National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Riders USA sets up 200 flags along Cave Creek Road south of Pinnacle Peak Road. Bikes park along the many flags lined on Cave Creek Road and say "thank you" to those that are going into the cemetery. Riders USA will provide "thank you" signs for participants to hold. Also, the Arizona Central T-Buckets will be joining us and lining their hot rods along Pinnacle Peak Road. As family members go into the cemetery, we salute them and let them know their relatives buried in the cemetery are not forgotten. Event Pins available for the first 300 bikes. Official Ceremony: 8:00 (inside the Cemetery). Bikes that want to, will proceed inside and watch the Ceremony.

May 30th, 2015, American Legion Post #29, Glendale, Poker Run to benefit scholarships for our fallen military heroes children starts at ALR Post 29 - 6822 North 57th Drive, Glendale, AZ 85301. Prickly Pear Ave, Benson AZ, Event_Description: Southern Arizona Harley Riders MC will host their 21st Annual Biker Rodeo. Friday starts 1200, Saturday Gates open at 0800.
